Konica uses custom-designed high-speed film scanners to convert your photos into a digital format. Konica's proprietary production software formats and compresses these images and then exports them onto a 3.5" floppy disk. Every PC PictureShow image disk includes Konica's powerful viewing software program at no extra charge.
Konica's PC PictureShow is a versatile, complete and self-running photo image disk that allows you to view your photos directly on your computer without having to install the software program. Its powerful features allow you to display your photos as a slide-show with forward, reverse and pause options.
It includes a thumbnail Photo Index for quick photo viewing and allows you to add text, notes, dates and annotations (up to 32,000 characters) to each image. You can also cut, crop, copy and export your photos to other applications to produce newsletters, greeting cards and more. You can also print your photos on your home computer, add them to your Konica screen saver, or even e-mail them to family members across town or across the nation.
PC PictureShow is available in your choice of Windows or Mac formats. (The Windows versions supports both Windows and DOS. If you are a DOS user, check the Windows box on the Film Club Mailer.) The Windows format is compatible with Windows 3.1, Windows 95 and Windows NT. The Mac format is compatible with System 7 or higher and Power Mac.
Konica's PC PictureShow is available when submitting an original 35mm color print roll for developing and printing. Check the Film Club Mailer for cost, which vary with exposures.
To order, simply select the PC PictureShow box on your Software of the Month Club« Film Club Mailer. Your PC PictureShow disk will be returned to you along with your completed film order.
